Could you please provide me with when a full structural engineer report was last carried out on the bridge and what the findings are?
Also if any maintenance is planned for the bridge.

Could you please provide me with when a full structural engineer report was last carried out on the bridge and what the findings are?
Answer: The Service Area have advised we do not carry out “Structural Engineer Reports” on our bridges; we carry out General Inspections. The most recent was carried out 21st March 2025 and we have also carried out 5 Safety Inspections on this bridge since then.
These inspections have commented on the buildup of debris on the deck boards, the spot chips to the cream paint system of the main steel components, the need to sand down and refinish the hand rails, the removal of graffiti and the deterioration of the timber deck boards and the failure of some of the screw fixings holding the deck boards in place.
Also if any maintenance is planned for the bridge.
Answer: The Service Area have advised maintenance is currently planned to replace some of the deck boards and the timbers that they are mounted onto.
