1) How many Flood Enforcement cases were successfully closed by Herefordshire County Council for non-compliance to statutory Riparian Responsibilities legislation (as published by the Environment Agency) against landowners and residents?

Between 2019 and 2025, by year:

1) How many Flood Enforcement cases were successfully closed by Herefordshire County Council for non-compliance to statutory Riparian Responsibilities legislation (as published by the Environment Agency) against landowners and residents?

Answer: The Service Area have advised that 1 case was successfully closed in 2025. There were no cases between 2019-2024.

2) What was the outcome in each case?

Answer: The Service Area have advised the 1 case was cleared after a Section 25 Land Drainage Act Notice was served.

3) How many cases were investigated but not successfully enforced?

Answer: 0

4) What were the grounds for failure?

Answer: N/A
