1) Can the Local Authority's Director of Public Health provide an estimate for the number of referrals made to alcohol treatment services in your local authority area for the following financial years?

A: Data prior to 2020/21 was submitted by the previous provider service directly to the national database and is not held by the local authority. A new provider was appointed from 1st April 2020 - see data below:
2020/21 Total = 413 adults and less than 10 under 18s
2021/22 Q1 data = 95 adult referrals and less than 10 under 18s
2) Can the Local Authority's Director of Public Health provide the outturn data for budget spent on alcohol treatment services in your local authority area for the following financial years?
a) 2018/19
b) 2019/20

A: The service is an integrated substance misuse service contract covering drugs and alcohol treatment together; there is no separate financial outturn information available for alcohol treatment services.
