Please could you provide the following information for the financial year 2019/20:

Q1. How many children's playgrounds did your authority manage?

Q2. How much did your authority spend on children's playgrounds, including inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement?

Q3. How much did your authority spend on the creation of new children's playgrounds?

For clarity, I am interested in children's playgrounds located in public and semi-public spaces such as parks, open spaces, housing estates and adventure playgrounds. I am not interested in school playgrounds.

Q1. How many children's playgrounds did your authority manage?

Herefordshire Council was responsible for 67 play areas.

Q2. How much did your authority spend on children's playgrounds, including inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement?

£43,187

Q3. How much did your authority spend on the creation of new children's playgrounds?

No new play areas were created in the 2019/20 financial year.

Please note that Herefordshire Housing (now known as Connexus) are responsible for a number of play areas / parks within the housing sites they own and manage, and so may hold further information. They can be contacted via https://connexus-group.co.uk/about-contact
