I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, details in respect to the Clinical waste destruction contract below.

The details we require are:

Q1. What are the contractual performance KPI's for this contract? If separate do the KPI's differ for the clinical waste contract?

Q2. Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages

Q3. Actual spend on the clinical waste contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the start of the contract to the current date

Q4. Start date & duration of framework/contract?

Q5. Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised?

Q6. Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?

Q7. Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?

Q8. Who is the procurement officer responsible for this contract (clinical waste)

Due to this contract only recently being procured we do not have 'actual spend' to date figures available at this time, however, the total cost of the contract is circa £49,660.

Start Date: 01 July 2022

Duration: 24 months + 12 month extension

Q5. Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised?

Yes, please see Question 4.

Q7. Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?

This contract has only recently been procured. A decision will be made closer to the expiry date of the initial contract term as to whether the 12 month extension is utilised or this service is re-procured.
