I would like to know how much the Council pays the Hereford Times annually for the notice pages every week

A: The Council is required by law to publish certain statutory notices by way of local advertisement. In Herefordshire, the Hereford Times is currently the only local newspaper that provides county‑wide coverage and meets the requirements for publication of statutory notices. As a result, the Council places its statutory notice advertisements with this publication.

The amount paid by the Council to the Hereford Times for notice pages in financial year 2025/26 is below broken down by relevant Service Areas:
