Response

Zero

How much does the council pay for third party providers such as Mipermit or RingGo to operate?

£0.00

How much does the Local Authority profit from public usage of cashless third party apps to pay for parking?

Herefordshire Council receives 50% of the cost (10p inc VAT) of each RingGo SMS message sent out by provider which equates to 4p (plus 1p VAT) for each message. There is not a profit as this only contributes to the councils internal costs of operating the scheme such as customer contact, managing the website, back office, ICT, sim cards in pay and display machines etc.
