Can I have an account of the spending planned by this Council to mark the upcoming jubilee, both public money or funding that has been allocated to the Council for the purpose of celebrating the jubilee.
Response
The local authority is working with communities, local community funders and other funding sources to understand whether funding is required and currently the local community funding organisation has allocated up to £10,000 for community groups to submit an application for support. We are also publicising these opportunities via the Council and Talk Community website (Please see website links below). In addition, we are reviewing the process of closing roads and using council owned land to ensure it is as simple as possible to support the celebrations.
