A: The target cost for the scheme was £35,802.74 this includes works and all the associated costs such as road closure notices. The final costs have not yet been concluded but there were no significant changes that would impact on this Target cost figure.

There had been a lot of enquiries regarding this road due to the poor condition and in places this road was nearly undrivable. The bin lorries had started to refuse to drive up to the top to collect the bins resulting in the residents having to take the bins down to the bottom of the hill on a severe slope.

The decision was made to resurface this road on this basis and Herefordshire Council approved the works. No local residents paid for or contributed to the works.
