Request
Work was carried out to replace a fence at "the children's park" on Walford Road, Ross-On-Wye, opposite the entrance to Roman Way, in the week of 11th to 15th May 2026.
The job has been completed to a very low standard. No pilot holes drilled resulting in timber rails splitting. Mortar on multiple rails where they've been used to tamper postcrete in post holes. Untreated cut ends. Staggered joints done incorrectly. Damaged timber used. No post caps or treatment.
This took 4 men, 3 days, a digger, and a welfare unit.
I would like to know:
1. How much was paid for the job?
2. The name of the contractor who was selected to carry out the job.
3. Is it being signed off? If yes, who is signing it off? If no, when will it be rectified?
