Independent special schools and Non-maintained special schools spend

Request
1. For each calendar year since January 2018, the total spend on independent special school places for EHCP recipients.
2. For each year (as above) the total paid in placement fees to each independent special school. Please can this include the name of the school and their postcode, whether they were S41 registered and how many EHCP recipients were placed there.
3. The same as Q 1 but for non-maintained special schools.
4. The same as Q 2 but for non-maintained special schools.
5. Did the LA passport the SSG funds to special schools as well as mainstream schools?
6. If it was passed on, what methodology was used to calculate the amount of money passported to special schools? And the total amount passed on?
7. If the LA did not pass the SSG on to special schools, what did they do with the money retained?

No, the funds were added to high needs block and allocated as a total budget.
6. If it was passed on, what methodology was used to calculate the amount of money passported to special schools? And the total amount passed on?
Not passported specifically to special schools.
7. If the LA did not pass the SSG on to special schools, what did they do with the money retained?
The money was not retained but included in the high needs block budget and allocated to all providers, not specifically special schools, but also pupil referral units, independent special schools and high needs top-ups for mainstream schools.
