High street shops

As part of an upcoming project, we want to celebrate the diversity of high streets in the West Midlands and in order to do so effectively, we need information on each of the high streets in towns that fall under your governance. Specifically, I am looking for confirmation of what percentage of the said high street is made up of: * Cafes * Charity Shops * Independent shops * Retail (preferably if this information is available, broken down into what kind of retail, eg, bookshop, clothing, chemist, hardware, etc.)

Herefordshire Council does not hold this information. We do hold a list of all property addresses and the property types i.e. shop & premises, factory etc. however, we do not hold details of whether that premises is charity / independent / or the type of retail, and therefore we are unable to calculate the percentages you have requested. If it would be helpful to your project for us to provide you with the list of property addresses and types that we do hold, please let us know
