In accordance with the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I write with the following requests for information. All timeframes specified relate to financial years.

1. How many Section106 (S106) agreements were completed in financial years a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

2. What was the average time taken from a planning application being validated to the completion of an associated S106 agreement in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

3. What was the longest and shortest duration taken to complete an S106 agreement in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

4. Do you have any internal targets or key performance indicators (KPIs) for S106 negotiation timescales? If so, please provide details.

5. How many S106 agreements took longer than 12 months to be agreed a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

6. How many planning applications lapsed or were withdrawn due to delays in S106 negotiations in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

7. How much was spent on external legal consultants on work to negotiate S106 agreements in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

In accordance with the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I write with the following requests for information. All timeframes specified relate to financial years.

1. How many Section106 (S106) agreements were completed in financial years a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

Answer: a) 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 – 10 agreements.

b) 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 – 27 agreements.

c) 1st April 2024 to 17th March 2025 – 30 agreements.

2. What was the average time taken from a planning application being validated to the completion of an associated S106 agreement in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

Answer: a) 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 – 8.7 months.

b) 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 – 11.25 months.

c) 1st April 2024 to 17th March 2025 – 9.3 months.

3. What was the longest and shortest duration taken to complete an S106 agreement in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

Answer: a) 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 – longest = 24 months; shortest = 2 months.

b) 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 – longest = 63 months; shortest = 2 months.

c) 1st April 2024 to 17th March 2025 – longest = 29 months; shortest = 1 month.

4. Do you have any internal targets or key performance indicators (KPIs) for S106 negotiation timescales? If so, please provide details.

Answer: None.

5. How many S106 agreements took longer than 12 months to be agreed a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?

Answer: a) 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 – 3 agreements.

b) 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 – 5 agreements.

c) 1st April 2024 to 17th March 2025 – 7 agreements.

6. How many planning applications lapsed or were withdrawn due to delays in S106 negotiations in a) 2022-23, b) 2023-24 and c) 2024-25?
