Under Freedom of Information Act/Environmental Information Regulations, I would like to request the following information.
For the area for which you are the Lead Local Flood Management Authority under the Flood and Water Management Act (2010) --
- Total number of people living at risk of flooding (any level of risk)
- Total number of people exposed to frequent flooding (1:75 years or above)
- Total number living in EA-designated flood zone 3

A) The Service Area have advised the following for the total number of people living at risk of flooding (any level of risk):
3937 properties (9055 people based on 2.3 persons per property)
- Total number of people exposed to frequent flooding (1:75 years or above)

Whilst Herefordshire Council does not hold this data, there have been some 2668 records of domestic and commercial flood sites (or 6136 people based on 2.3 persons per property). Some of these properties may have flooded in an extreme event (above 75 year return).

A) The Service Area have advised the following for the total number living in EA-designated flood zone 3:
2313 properties (5319 people based on 2.3 persons per property)
