Use of Microsoft Office 365
Case reference FOI2022/01450
Published 21 October 2022
Request
1. Is the council currently using a Microsoft Office 365 subscription to licence its desktops?
2. If the answer to question 1 is yes, is the council currently using the "FromSA" product SKU in its licensing agreement?
3. If the answer to question 1 is yes, did the council "relinquish" the ownership of its prior perpetual licences in order to obtain discounts from Microsoft?
4. If the answer to question one is yes and the answer to question 3 is no, do you still therefore have ownership of the perpetual licences you were using prior to migration and if so what versions and quantities do you still have?
