Number of dog breeding licences

Please confirm how many licences for dog breeding have been issued under the Animal Welfare (Licencing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, or any previous relevant legislation relating to dog breeding or pet selling by your local authority. This has been clarified to mean the number of licences (both new and renewed) that have been issued from 2018 to the present day.

The licences issued prior to 1 October 2018 were issued under the Breeding of Dogs Acts 1973 and 1991 and the Pet Animals Act 1951. The licences issued from 1 October 2018 to date were issued under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018
