I would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The National Highways definition of the Local Road Network is that portion of the Road Network for which a Local Government is responsible, and is eligible for funding from the State Government to operate and maintain.

With this in mind, for the months of January through to December 2023 and - if available - for the first 3 months of 2024, please disclose:

The total amount of money spent by your council on road maintenance, relating directly to pothole reports and repairs across your Local Road Network.

With this in mind, for the months of January through to December 2023 and - if available - for the first 3 months of 2024, please disclose:

The total amount of money spent by your council on road maintenance, relating directly to pothole reports and repairs across your Local Road Network.

The Service Area have advised that costs data is captured in financial years and therefore it is only possible to gather the total spend for the period covering April 2023 - March 2024.

We can confirm the total amount spent on road maintenance, relating to pothole repairs, was £2,731,358.04.
