Planning Search – Herefordshire Council
The information relevant to TPO applications, with dates and descriptions of applications are all available on our website through a keyword search for selected dates. This data can then be saved as a .csv file for import into a spreadsheet for further detailed search and analysis. As such we consider this information to be exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because it is reasonably accessible to you via other means. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 of the Act.
• The number of trees removed after Tree Preservation Orders for those trees were lifted that were the subject of subsidence claims
The Service Area have advised there is no process for “lifting” a TPO. A ‘Works to TPO Tree Application’ provides permission (or refusal) for works to be carried out or for the tree to be removed. The original TPO remains in place until legally amended or revoked through a defined process within the Regulations.
