Herefordshire Council does not maintain specific Software Control documentation, but in highlighting different conventions recognises that software suppliers in particular will often maintain a version numbering system for their product(s), which may differ from that within Herefordshire Council Version Control Procedure, despite similarities in final appearance (v3.0, v3.11, v7 etc.).
