I am writing to request information regarding the road resurfacing history and highway extents for the access road leading into Upper Town Ullingswick.
Specifically, I would appreciate details on:
1) The dates of any resurfacing or major maintenance works carried out on this road.
2) The type of resurfacing materials and methods used.
3) Any planned future works or assessments related to this section.
4) How the width of the road and creep of the road width is managed during resurfacing works
5) Accurate details of the boundaries and extents of the highway

I am writing to request information regarding the road resurfacing history and highway extents for the access road leading into Upper Town Ullingswick.
Specifically, I would appreciate details on:
1) The dates of any resurfacing or major maintenance works carried out on this road.
2) The type of resurfacing materials and methods used.
Answer to Q1 & Q2: The Service Area have advised the road was strengthened in 2015 with a 20mm asphalt binder layer then surface dressed in 2019 with a 6mm surface course.
3) Any planned future works or assessments related to this section.
Answer: The Service Area have advised there are no planned future works as the road is in generally good condition. The road is surveyed bi-annually utilising the Vaisala Road AI survey technology, with the most recent survey undertaken on 02/07/2025.
4) How the width of the road and creep of the road width is managed during resurfacing works
Answer: The Service Area have advised resurfacing works are undertaken within the highway boundary. This is normally governed by hedge lines, verges, kerb lines or property boundaries.
5) Accurate details of the boundaries and extents of the highway
