1. Starting on 01 January 2024, how many planning enforcement investigations have you undertaken in respect of unauthorised tree works comprising:

a) Trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order;

b) Trees growing within a conservation area?

2. Of these, how many have resulted in stop notices being issued or other enforcement action (including enforcement warning notices) being taken?

3. How many have resulted in a prosecution?

4. How many of these prosecutions have been successful?

1.    Starting on 01 January 2024, how many planning enforcement investigations have you
undertaken in respect of unauthorised tree works comprising:


a) Trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order;

Answer: 17.


b) Trees growing within a conservation area?

Answer: 10.



2. Of these, how many have resulted in stop notices being issued or other enforcement action (including enforcement warning notices) being taken?
Answer: Replant notices have been served on 2 to remedy breach but cases remain open.

 

10 of these cases are open cases pending investigation


3. How many have resulted in a prosecution?

Answer: None.



4. How many of these prosecutions have been successful?

Answer: This is not applicable.
