- What system(s) you currently use to support transport planning and scheduling.
- The supplier(s) of the system(s).


2. Cost and contract details
- The current annual cost of each system.


- The contract start date and end date.


- Any options for extension or renewal within the contract.

 


- The date on which the current contract is due for renewal or re-procurement.

 

3. Contacts
- The job title and suitable contact details of the main person or team responsible for discussing transport solutions within your organisation.


4. Annual transport spend: Please provide your most recent full financial year’s spend on transport services, broken down as follows:
- Mainstream school transport

 


- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND/SEN) transport


- Adult social care transport


5. Demand responsive and community transport
- Do you currently work with any demand responsive transport (DRT) and/or community transport providers?


If yes, please provide:
- The name of each provider


- The type of service(s) provided (e.g. home‑to‑school, SEND, adult social care, dial‑a‑ride, community bus, demand responsive transport)


- The client group(s) served


- Whether the services are provided under contract, grant funding, framework agreement, or ad‑hoc arrangements

 
6. Additional digital tools
- Whether you use any other digital tools or platforms to manage transport contracts, fleet management, route optimisation, or performance monitoring, and if so, the name of those tools.

Answer: The below information is based on financial year 2025/26

1. Transport planning system

A: PAX Systems


2. Cost and contract details
- The current annual cost of each system.

 

A: Total cost including optional year and onboarding set up costs - £406,500.00


- The contract start date and end date.

 

A: 18th September 2025 to 17th September 2028


- Any options for extension or renewal within the contract.

 

A: Optional 12-month extension


- The date on which the current contract is due for renewal or re-procurement.

A: As above

A: Spend for ASC transport indicative is £240,939, therefore £0.2m in millions. This is not yet finalized.

A: HTST and SEN under contract.  Service Level Agreement in place to fund operators based on passenger numbers.

A: No
