I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act, can you please provide the following:
1a) How many penalty notices have been issued to parents for unauthorised pupil absences in the last three years (Between April 6 - April 5 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24)?
Can this be broken down by year?
1b) What is the total monetary amount of the fines issued (broken down by year)
1c) Of the fines issued, how many were not paid within 21 days?
2. During the same time, how many non-paid fines resulted in further action including, an Education Supervision Order, Community Order or Jail Order.
Broken down by year and type of further action.
