Response
1. Whom do you (council) use for the supply and installation of your modular/concrete ramps?
Procurement for modular ramps supply and installation is arranged via a Dynamic Procurement System (DPS) provided by Independence CIC. Concrete ramps (where used) are also arranged via local contractors registered with the DPS.
2. Are you (council) in a current contract with a supplier/provider for this equipment? If so whom is the contractors, you use for this type of adaptation?
Contractors registered on the DPS can bid for works to the specification and schedule of rates provided for modular ramps. They currently use a variety of different manufacturers/suppliers.
3. If you are in a contract/framework for this when does this contract expire, please?
The contract with Independence CIC is due to be reviewed in January 2024.
