How many disabled car parking bays are there across Herefordshire and why aren't there any in Merton Meadow car park?
I would also like to know how many disabled parking bays that are located on street parking areas.

Answer: The number of disabled car parking bays across Herefordshire is publically available on our council website and can be viewed via the following link:
As such we consider this information to be exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because it is reasonably accessible to you via other means. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 of the Act.
With regards to Merton Meadow, the Service Area have advised there are no marked bays in Merton Meadow mainly due to the surface not being suitable for lining. This includes disabled bays. There are no plans to resurface the car park to allow bay marking.
I would also like to know how many disabled parking bays that are located on street parking areas.
Answer: The Service Area have advised we have a total of 22 on-street parking Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) disabled bays across Herefordshire. Please note this does not directly mean there are only 22 parking spaces for vehicles, as more than one vehicle may be able to park in these bays.
