Answer: The Service Area have advised they are unable to answer this question in exactly the way it has been asked. They have advised payment allocation reporting is not based on what part of the bill has been paid in terms of discounts/reliefs/premiums, etc. It is only based on the bill as a whole.
However, the Service Area are able to advise, the total second home premium charge element levied in 2025/26 was £1,970,238.00 (to the nearest pound).
2. How many homes did the council collect a second home premium from?
Answer: 1,002 homes. (Please be advised, again this is answered in terms of accounts where a charge has been levied rather than actually paid.)
