I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:
• How many individuals do the local authority/NHS commission with Adults complex care using Live-in care at home (24-hour care with the carer staying in the property)?
• How many providers do the local authority/NHS work with for Adult complex care at home and how many of those providers have clinical leads?
• What is the commissioned rate for Adult complex care at home for 2023?
• Is there a separate framework for complex care at home and if so is it open?
• What is the name of the commissioner for complex care for adults?

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:
• How many individuals do the local authority/NHS commission with Adults complex care using Live-in care at home (24-hour care with the carer staying in the property)?
A) Learning Disabilities = 27
Mental Health = 25
Live-In Care = 2
Rational from the Service Area: The above numbers represent the number of service users during the period from 31 Jul 2022 to 1 Aug 2023 with Primary Support Reason (PSR) of Learning Disability or Mental Health Support under Home care or Live-in Care
• How many providers do the local authority/NHS work with for Adult complex care at home and how many of those providers have clinical leads?
A) The Service Area have advised that we do not have providers for Adult complex care at home, however, we do have 27 supported living framework providers.
The number of clinical leads is unknown as we do not record this information. Please contact the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) for this information: hwicb.foirequests@nhs.net

A) 2023/24 Home Care Rates
Urban Rate £21.76 per hour
Rural Rate £25.00 per hour
2022/23 Home Care Rates
Urban Rate £20.00 per hour
Rural Rate £23.00 per hours
Please note there is not a separate rate for Complex Care at home.
Supported Living Rates
£18.48 per hour, 24 hour care
£135 Sleep-in flat fee
