I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information regarding Children's Services social worker workforce. Specifically, I would like to request the following information for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025:
1. The number of children's services social workers who left the council in 2025.
2. The number of children's services social workers who joined the council in 2025.
3. The total number of children's services social workers who worked for the council in 2025. Please note I would like this information broken down by agency workers as well as direct/permanent employees.
For clarification, by 'social worker' I mean any role that has the responsibility of a social worker, these types of roles are: Advanced Practitioner, Children's Social Work Manager, Fostering Assessment Manager, Fostering Social Worker, Managing Practitioner, Newly Qualified Social Worker, Permanence Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, Social Worker, Team Manager. This is not an exhaustive list, if any other roles apply then please include them in the data you give me. If this request triggers the cost exemption, please prioritise answering the first two questions.
