I would like to make the following FOI requests.
1. The names of the manufacturers that have contracts with your council to supply a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b)refillable vapes/e-cigarettes, under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme
2. The total number of a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b) refillable vapes/e-cigarettes given out by the council under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme
3. The value of the contracts awarded by your council to manufacturers of a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b)refillable vapes/e-cigarettes, under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme.
Response
I would like to make the following FOI requests.
1. The names of the manufacturers that have contracts with your council to supply a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b) refillable vapes/e-cigarettes, under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme
A) The Service Area have advised that Herefordshire Council do not have a contract with manufacturers of vape products as part of the Swap to Stop Scheme. Unite Procurement Portal provide a platform form via Crown Commercial Services to supply vape products as part of the Swap to Stop Scheme.
2. The total number of a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b) refillable vapes/e-cigarettes given out by the council under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme
A) As part of the Swap to Stop Scheme, 200 refillable vape starter kits have been provided to support adult smokers to stop smoking between January 2024 and May 2024.
Please note, Herefordshire Council does not provide disposable vapes as part of the stop smoking service offer.
3. The value of the contracts awarded by your council to manufacturers of a) disposable vapes/e-cigarettes, and b) refillable vapes/e-cigarettes, under the NHS Swap to Stop scheme.
A) Herefordshire Council do not have a contract with manufacturers of vape products.
