Response

I have a mobile advertising vehicle which I intend to bring into your local area. Can you please:

1. Advise whether there are any restrictions, permits or permission we would need to advertise in your borough.

A: The Service Areas responsible for advertising permits would only get involved if your vehicle were to park in a static manner for display purposes in a public area. If it is being driven around then there would be no need for approval from Herefordshire Council.

If you intend to park up anywhere else to display/advertise then we would suggest permission is sort from the relevant landowner permission. It is also worth considering parking restrictions in the area so as not breach any parking rules.

2. The name and contact details of the cabinet holder for community safety in the authority

A: Councillor Carole Gandy, Cabinet Member Adults, Health and Wellbeing. carole.gandy@herefordshire.gov.uk

A: The Herefordshire Serious Violence Partnership Serious Violence Strategy has not yet been published the deadline for doing so is 31st January 2024 in line with the statutory duty (see below). The Service Area have advised that this will be published to our website by the deadline date.
