I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding students from Wales who attend education in your local authority area.

I would be grateful if you could provide this information for each of the past five academic years, if available.

Specifically, I would like to request the following data:

1. Numbers of Students from Wales:

i) How many 16-18-year-olds from the following areas are currently enrolled in full-time education within Herefordshire:

• Torfaen

• Monmouthshire

• Other parts of Wales (if data is held at that level)

2. Institutions Attended:

i) Please provide a breakdown of which educational institutions these students attend within Herefordshire.

3. Reasons for Cross-Border Attendance:

i) Do you hold any data, surveys, or insights indicating why students from Wales choose to study in Herefordshire?

ii) If so, please provide a summary or copy of this information.
