Request

1. How much deficit/pressure/overspend have you identified in your Medium Term Financial Strategy IN (a) 2024-25 (b) 2025-26 and (c) 2026-27. Please do not provide me with a figure for 2023-24 or any year before that.

2. Please provide (a) a link to your latest Medium Term Financial Strategy and (b) the page number(s) where the answer to question 1 can be found. If you do not provide a page number I will request an Internal Review on the ground that you have misinterpreted what constitutes 'accessible information'. I am not a finance expert, so without clear signposting to the data I will not be able to find it.

A) Our latest Medium Term Financial Strategy is publically available on the Herefordshire Council website and can be viewed via the following link:

Please direct to Page 4, Table 1, paragraph 3.3 and Page 11, Appendix B, where the answer to question 1 can be found.

There is also a budget amendment to 24/25, but this does not affect any surplus/ (gap) as shown in the MTFS above, available on the Herefordshire Council website and can be viewed via the following link:
