Response

1.    Do you have a web-based community information, advice and guidance website for adult social care?

 

A: The Talk Community Directory (https://www.talkcommunity.co.uk/) is an online community information portal covering local support and services, including adult social care related information (e.g., help at home, community support, care homes and wellbeing signposting).


2. Do you have a social care community directory of services?

 

A: There is an integrated directory search on the Talk Community site where users can search for local services including care homes, support organisations, voluntary sector services and health/social care referrals

A: External provider


b) If an external provider, please provide the name of the supplier?


c) If an external provider, please provide the renewal date for the contract.

As such we consider this information to be exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because it is reasonably accessible to you via other means. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 of the Act.

A: The Service Area have advised that support is included within the contract value


4. Are there any plans to review provision in the next 12 months?

 

A: Yes


5. Are the council considering an all-age portal that includes ASC, SEND/local offer and FIS?

 

A: No single all-age portal is currently in place.

SEND / Local Offer information is hosted on the council website, while community, wellbeing and family-related information is provided through the Talk Community website. Adult social care information is signposted across both platforms. There are currently no confirmed plans to bring ASC, SEND/Local Offer and FIS together into a single all-age digital portal.

A: Responsibility for the council’s community information, advice and guidance directory sits with the Talk Community service within Herefordshire Council.
