In accordance with the Chief Executive letter dated the 1 Aug 22 the following was stated:
"the Council will add the Kington Bypass to its list of sites that require an enhanced maintenance regime. On top of regular monthly maintenance inspections for the A44, the whole site will have specific quarterly safety inspections that will include the side road and the footpath."
Please could I be sent a copy of the enhanced maintenance plan for the A44 from the Kington roundabout to the Kington junction that is described in the above information for 2024/25.

The Service Area have confirmed there is no physical plan and they have provided the following information:
The enhanced maintenance plan for the A44 at this location for 2024/25 comprises an additional cut of the highway verges and visibility splays. Over the course of the season, two cuts are undertaken, scheduled for May and August. A third cut will be undertaken between May and August at a time that will be dependent on local growing conditions.
We can confirm that the May cut has been completed.
