1 - What is the current cost of an annual residential parking permit within your council?

2 - How many residential parking permits were issued in the following timeframes:

1st January 2020 – 31st December 2020

1st January 2021 - 31st December 2021

1st January 2022 – 31st December 2022

1st January 2023 – 31st December 2023

1st January 2024 - 31st December 2024

3 - Please provide the cost of an annual residential parking permit over the last five years, detailing any changes in price each year.

4 - Does the cost of an annual parking permit differ depending on the street, zone, or area? If so, please provide the price range and the rationale for any variations in cost.

5 - Does the council operate a waiting list for residential parking permits? If yes, please provide the total number of current applicants on the waiting list as of today’s date and please specify the date.

6 - What is the average waiting time for an applicant to receive a residential parking permit over the past five calendar years?

7 - Are there specific areas or zones within the council where waiting lists are longer? If so, please provide details, including the current average waiting times for those areas.

8 - What percentage of streets within your council area are designated for parking permits compared to those offering free parking? (streets just owned by the council)

A: £30

2 - How many residential parking permits were issued in the following timeframes:

1st January 2020 – 31st December 2020

1st January 2021 - 31st December 2021

1st January 2022 – 31st December 2022

1st January 2023 – 31st December 2023

1st January 2024 - 31st December 2024

A: 1st January 2020 – 31st December 2020 = 2504

1st January 2021 - 31st December 2021 = 2797

1st January 2022 – 31st December 2022 = 3015

1st January 2023 – 31st December 2023 = 3105

1st January 2024 - 31st December 2024 = 3534

3 - Please provide the cost of an annual residential parking permit over the last five years, detailing any changes in price each year.

A: It has been £30 since its introduction in 2018

4 - Does the cost of an annual parking permit differ depending on the street, zone, or area? If so, please provide the price range and the rationale for any variations in cost.

A: No

5 - Does the council operate a waiting list for residential parking permits? If yes, please provide the total number of current applicants on the waiting list as of today’s date and please specify the date.

A: There is no waiting list

6 - What is the average waiting time for an applicant to receive a residential parking permit over the past five calendar years?

A: This information is not held. However, the service area have advised that on average most Permits are dispatched next working day. However, this is evidence depending. If an applicant has not provided sufficient evidence the process can be extended which is why we currently ask for up to 2 weeks to process an application.

7 - Are there specific areas or zones within the council where waiting lists are longer? If so, please provide details, including the current average waiting times for those areas.

A: No

8 - What percentage of streets within your council area are designated for parking permits compared to those offering free parking? (streets just owned by the council)

A: This information is not held. We operate residents' parking schemes in Bromyard, Colwall, Hereford, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.
