- How many times in the past 5 years has the Borough released recorded CCTV data to a member of the public in response to a Personal Data Access request/FOI request or similar request?

 

- How many times in the past 5 years has the Borough released recorded CCTV data in response to a request from the courts or legal representative?

 

- When releasing CCTV video, is it Borough policy to redact or blur out the faces of uninvolved members of the public who may have been incidentally captured on the video being released?

 

- If so, is this video redaction ('blurring out') task carried out by Borough staff in-house or performed by an outside agency/service provider?

A: Total of 255 camera lenses contained within a total of 174 camera heads.

- How many of these CCTV cameras are set to record video?

 

A: All

- How many times in the past 5 years has the Borough released recorded CCTV data to a member of the public in response to a Personal Data Access request/FOI request or similar request?

 

A: 10 (from 2020 to present date).

- How many times in the past 5 years has the Borough released recorded CCTV data in response to a request from the courts or legal representative?

A: 19 (from 2020 to present date).

 

- When releasing CCTV video, is it Borough policy to redact or blur out the faces of uninvolved members of the public who may have been incidentally captured on the video being released?

 

A: Policy is to redact personal data of third parties as necessary and practicable.

- If so, is this video redaction ('blurring out') task carried out by Borough staff in-house or performed by an outside agency/service provider?

 

A: Carried out internally.
