I am after information relating to the number of 20mph zones and limits in place in your Local Authorities.
In particular, are you able to provide me with:
1) The number of roads that had a speed limit of 20mph implemented in each calendar year. This should only include roads that did not previously have a 20mph limit. Could you please provide answers to Question 1) for the following years

2) The number of roads that had a 20mph Zone implemented in each calendar year. Could you please provide answers to Question 2) for the following years:

There were 7 20mph zones introduced which impacted on 290 roads. The work was delivered as part of the Department for Transport Emergency Active Travel Measures programme in response to the Covid pandemic, they were introduced in August 2020 and removed in August 2021.
