Hi, we are gathering information for procurement activities across the UK. In line with FOI regulations, can the council please confirm:
1. What system does the council use for issuing and managing penalty charge notices relating to parking contraventions? And what company is that supplied from?
2. What system is in place for issuing parking permits? And what company is that supplied from?
3. When were both systems procured?
4. What dates do the contracts of both systems run until?

Hi, we are gathering information for procurement activities across the UK. In line with FOI regulations, can the council please confirm:
1. What system does the council use for issuing and managing penalty charge notices relating to parking contraventions? And what company is that supplied from?
Answer: The Service Area have advised the Council uses Case Manager for issuing and managing penalty charge notices relating to parking contraventions, and this is supplied by Chipside.
2. What system is in place for issuing parking permits? And what company is that supplied from?
Answer: The Service Area have advised parking permits are currently administered by the Council as a physical permit.
3. When were both systems procured?
Answer: The Service Area have advised Chipside was procured in 2009. There is no permitting system at this time.
4. What dates do the contracts of both systems run until?
Answer: The Service Area have advised the Chipside contract is currently being reviewed. There is no permitting contract at this time.
