I'm interested in hearing more about the Household Support Fund. I would like to know the following:
1. The number of applications to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.
2. The monetary amount of support provided to applicants to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.
3. The number of successful applicants to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.
4. If possible, I would also like to know the outstanding monetary amount from the Household Support Fund that is available before the scheme ends on 31st March 2023.
Response
I'm interested in hearing more about the Household Support Fund. I would like to know the following:
1. The number of applications to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.
There has not been an open application process during the time frame in question. Due to a change in the guidance for local authorities from Government, the Household Support Fund had to go through internal governance which delayed the funds being able to be administered until mid-November. There were also internal capacity issues and a system to administer the vouchers also needed to be procured. The open application process is due to go live this week.
2. The monetary amount of support provided to applicants to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.
None - please see response to Question 1. Residents that needed emergency support have been referred to third party organisations that have been funded as part of the Household Support Fund.
3. The number of successful applicants to the Household Support Fund during the 12 months to 31st December 2022.

4. If possible, I would also like to know the outstanding monetary amount from the Household Support Fund that is available before the scheme ends on 31st March 2023.
The funding has been allocated to various areas of support and has been fully committed.
