Would you please be kind enough to provide me with the following information: During the financial year 2021-22:
1. How many people were assessed as in need of a stairlift under the terms of the Disabled Facilities Grant?
2. How many of these people were actually provided with a stairlift in that period via the Disabled Facilities Grant?
3. What was the average waiting time from assessment to the provision of the stairlift under the grant?

The length of time shown between assessment and provision of the stairlift reflects a backlog of works during Covid and also reflects that in some cases other adaptations works needed completion before the stairlift installation e.g. shower room installs prior to stairlift installation to avoid damage to the stairlift whilst building works on site upstairs.
