Major Developments Proposed at Marsh Farm - Meeting Minutes

I have been absolutely appalled by the proposals contained in the Landra documentation. Apart from major implications for flooding, wildlife habitat, pollution, the already dangerous onward access onto ‘Brands Hatch’ (the A40), - still to be assessed - the most pressing issue is the absolutely LUDICROUS proposal for access to a site for 156 houses through a tiny Glebe cul-de-sac which contains just 15 houses.
To facilitate this crazy scheme, the proposal is to demolish two and a half of these 15 homes to provide access to the site - although we are aware that this would be only the first phase. According to the stats, 156 houses could imply parking for 186 cars which would enter and exit the tiny cul-de-sac in the Glebe. But we are aware that this number could well be expanded once further development is approved.
We are also aware that, that although residents try hard to park on their own property rather than on the roads, birthdays happen, family visits happen, life happens! So parking on the roads, whilst understandable, is another factor which statisticians ignore.
In the meantime, we in are being bombarded with lorries and diggers from the Model Farm development from dawn to dusk. If the new proposals are approved, we will be the filling in a development sandwich.. Similarly the residents of The Glebe, many of whom are elderly, did not sign up for a situation in which they will be tormented by demolition/construction vehicles, let alone trying to compete with enormous traffic jams in order to attend events such as doctors’ appointments. The statistics regarding the width of the Glebe roads are a world away from the reality of the situation - and a member of the Fire Service has stated that access to a fire on the proposed estate could be a major issue.
All of this nonsense could have been avoided had the Council, who own the Model Farm land, pointed Landra in the direction of an access road on that land land. Landra have told us that they could not propose that because they did not own the land (the Council did) and therefore could not suggest what would have been a far better, less contentious, proposal.
Which brings me to my question under the Freedom of Information Act. We would like to see ‘minutes’ of the meetings between Landra and the Council Planning representatives, particularly those which relate to the lack of direction towards a Model Farm access route for the Marsh Lane proposal and the rationale.
On the one hand, we have all been invigorated by the call to arms. We already have a very large support base and system and are committed to whatever battle we will face. And yes, we will battle. But we are also totally dismayed by the fact that we have to commit so much of our time and energy to a battle which could so easily have been avoided had this farcical access proposal been properly thought through.

The Planning Department have confirmed that they have no minutes relating to the specific question linked to Landra and which relates to the model farm access. No meeting has been held on this specific matter or discussed in other meetings/written correspondence.
