I would like to know:
1. How many DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) people are council employed/subcontracted or used on whatever basis?
2. The complete cost on a yearly basis.
3. How many years the council had paid out for and on DEI?
4. The salary of a DEI 2022-2023.
For clarification, I would like the information for all of those who have DEI responsibilities and the costs associated with training each DEI. If outsourced the company name, if trained in house how many hours per person.

I would like to know:
1. How many DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) people are council employed/subcontracted or used on whatever basis?
1.4 FTE.
Please note that DEI is not the sole responsibility of these individuals, other duties are also covered within their job roles.
2. The complete cost on a yearly basis.
Other than salary costs, there are no additional training costs.
No specific DEI training has been purchased or commissioned externally or internally specifically for those with DEI responsibilities. Any Individual CPD, undertaken at each individual's discretion is not recorded and therefore we are not able to report on this.
3. How many years the council had paid out for and on DEI?
11 years.
4. The salary of a DEI 2022-2023.
The full time salary for the Equality Compliance Officer is Grade 8 which in 2022/23 was within the pay scale of £32,020 - £36,298. As explained in response to question 1 we are unable to break this down into exact cost for DEI as we do not record time and other duties are also covered within the role.
