Request
1. The total annual amount spent by the council on private Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) providers for placements of SEND students, broken down by financial year from 2015 to the most recent year available.
By “private SEND providers,” I mean independent or non-maintained schools and institutions that are not run by the local authority.
If available, please provide: Total spend per year - please provide both the proportion and the total for the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024.
