Please can you confirm how much money was spent on new furniture for the Plough Lane offices in Hereford during 2022.

The closure of both Elgar House and Nelson House has resulted in more council staff being based and working from the corporate head office at Plough Lane. As a result the Plough Lane offices were identified as requiring changes to provide flexible office accommodation to meet the changing work practices and the use of office space post-Covid and to support the delivery of services using a hybrid approach.

As part of the Flexible Futures Workplace the following orders for furniture have been placed and paid for in the calendar year 2022.

Office Chairs - 270 Ergonomic office chairs purchase for Plough Lane

Cost = £64,992

Meeting Room Furniture - Meeting room furniture including meeting tables & chairs to enable more capacity for meetings with customers and public committees

Cost = £96, 874.54

Total cost = £161,866.54
