A: Grass Cutting (Amenities) 930 sites. Currently sub-contracted for 6 x Cuts between April - Oct. A 2 week delay can be implemented with agreement from HC due to climate conditions and reduction in growth. This allows for a later cut which benefits the next April cut. Package includes Cemeteries within Public Realm. Includes Box Mowing Play Areas fortnightly/Cathedral Weekly.
Verge cutting & Strimming to programme - 2 x programmed (Sub-Contracted) planned cuts based on growth to highway verges between May - Sept (Timings Dependant on Growth)
Accidents Sites - 386 Sites Cut 2 x Season as per growth and safety.
Open Spaces & Sports Pitch Maintenance - Bowling Green, Tennis Courts & Putting Green as per seasonal requirements.
Bereavement Services (Crematorium, Cemeteries Maintenance and Grave Digging)
Noxious Weed Spraying - 190 sites Treated as specified according to plant.
Tree Maintenance - Annual Tree Survey, as per 5 year cycle and 1 x Tree Team (Sub - contractor) to carry out both planned & safety related work.
Playgrounds Maintenance - HC Owned 65 Play Areas. Annual RoSPA inspection, Monthly Inspection & budgeted maintenance.
Events - Assistance with May Fair (Leominster & Hereford), Market Town Christmas Trees, Remembrance Parades, Hereford in Bloom, Tree Planting, Volunteer Activities, etc
