Request
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:
- the number of library closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
- the number of community centre closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
- the number of football club closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
In addition, could you please provide the number of Assets of Community Value (ACVs) that were a) nominated in the local authority area
and b) acquired in the local authority area, both in the last 12 months.
Response
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:
- the number of library closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
A: 0
- the number of community centre closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
A: I have been advised that no Herefordshire Council owned facilities have closed. We would not hold any other information, for example closures relating to any privately owned Centres/clubs.
- the number of football club closures in your local authority in the last 12 months
A: As above.
In addition, could you please provide the number of Assets of Community Value (ACVs) that were a) nominated in the local authority area
A: This information is publically available on Herefordshire Council’s and can be viewed via the following link:

As such we consider this information to be exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because it is reasonably accessible to you via other means. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 of the Act.
