Case reference FOI2023/01936

Request

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information held by your local authority on its schools.

Specifically, I would like to be sent:

* A table showing all the local authority-maintained schools the council currently has (accompanied with URNs) and the size of their surplus or deficit.

* A table showing all the times the council has had to take on a school's deficit after it opened as a sponsored academy. I would like the table to include the names of the schools (as well as their URNs), the size of the deficit, the year in which it became an academy and whether the council has paid off the deficit.
