1. What is Team Manager basic salary - bottom to top of scale?

2. Do Team Manager's receive a market forces payment? Yes/No

Please can I request the following information in respect of Children's Social Work Team Managers:

1. What is Team Manager basic salary - bottom to top of scale?

A: £46,549 - £50,885

2. Do Team Manager's receive a market forces payment? Yes/No

A: Yes

3. If yes, how much do they receive? When is this paid?

A: £5000 per year paid monthly as £416.67 per month.

4. Do Team Manager's receive a welcome payment? Yes/No

A: Yes

5. If yes, how much do they receive?

A: £5,000 pro rata after 6 months employment.

6. Do Team Manager's receive a retention payment? Yes/No

A: Yes

7. If yes, how much do they receive?

A: A figure equivalent to 5% of their pay, which will be subject to tax and national insurance deductions and will be pensionable. It will be paid pro rata for employees working part time. The percentage will be calculated based on the previous 12-months earnings including basic pay and any honorariums and take into consideration changes in hours, unpaid leave (excluding maternity) and position changes. The payment will be issued as a lump sum along with the monthly salary on the pay day in which a work anniversary with Herefordshire Council falls and will be shown on the corresponding payslip.
