Could you please provide a list of all bids made by your local authority to the levelling up fund.
For each bid could you please provide:
* The date the bid was submitted
* The bid title and a brief description of what the bid was for, if available
* The amount of money being requested from the fund
* The name of any external contractors used in the bid
* The amount paid to each of the external contractors used in the bid
* The total estimated cost to the local authority of putting the bid together

Could you please provide a list of all bids made by your local authority to the levelling up fund.
For each bid could you please provide:
* The date the bid was submitted
The council submitted 3 bids to round 2 of the Levelling Up Fund. The bids were all submitted on 1 August 2022.
* The bid title and a brief description of what the bid was for, if available
North Herefordshire Market Towns package - package of public realm improvements in Leominster and Ledbury Town centres and enhancements to the Leominster Old Priory Building.
South Herefordshire constituency package - Development of site infrastructure and development plots for the Ross Enterprise Park.
Hereford City Transport Package - a package of transport and active travel measures in and around Hereford City

This information is publically available on the Herefordshire Council website and can be viewed via the above link.
As such we consider this information to be exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because it is reasonably accessible to you via other means. Please take this letter as a refusal notice under S17 of the Act.
* The name of any external contractors used in the bid
CBRE and WSP consultants were commissioned to support the development of these bids
* The amount paid to each of the external contractors used in the bid
£76,300 was spent with CBRE for the Southern and Northern constituency bids and £32,000 with WSP for the transport bid.
* The total estimated cost to the local authority of putting the bid together
The contractors were funded through the £125,000 capacity building funds the council received from government (as a Levelling Up Fund priority 1 area). The remainder of the £125,000 from government contributed towards officer time.
