The following questions apply to drug or alcohol services. Where possible we would like the answers split into inpatient detox and residential rehab as two separate categories. If that is not possible then please provide a combined figure.
Q1. How many placements (number of patients) have been made for inpatient detox or residential rehabilitation over the last ten financial years: 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022?
Q2. What was the budget for inpatient detox services over the last ten financial years: 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022?
Q3. What was the budget for residential rehabilitation services over the last ten financial years: 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022?

Response
Between 2015 and 2022 Herefordshire Council did not fund any residential rehabilitation or inpatient detox placements.
Prior to 2015, each request for residential rehabilitation was looked at on a case-by-case basis, agreed or refused and, if agreed, the invoices would have been sent to public health - no invoices for inpatient detox were received.
There is no contract data or budgetary information available prior to 2015 as Herefordshire Council did not hold this information.
